Eskom Holdings invites eligible bidders to submit their bids for the supply and delivery of 37,510 – 20A split meters (SAP no. 257003) and 950 – 60A split meter (SAP no. 243873) to Mthatha and King Williamstown in the Eastern Cape Operating Unit.

The deadline for submission is at 10:00 am on 21 September 2018.

Prequalifying criteria:

• Bidders must have the nationality of a country on any international sanctions list. A bidder shall be deemed to have the nationality of a country if the bidder is a national or is constituted, incorporated, or registered and operates in the conformity with the provisions of the laws of that country.

This criterion shall also apply to the determination of the nationality of proposed subcontractors or suppliers for any part of the contract including related services.

• Bidders are encouraged to submit as joint ventures and must clearly state so if that is the case.

• A bidder may be considered to have a conflict of interest one or more parties in this tendering process, if:

1. They have a controlling partner/majority shareholder in common; or

2. They have a relationship with each other, directly or through common third parties, that puts them in a position to have access to the information about or influence on the tender/proposal of another tender or influence the decisions of the employer regarding this bidding process.

• Where the bidders are not registered on National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (except foreign suppliers)

• Any bidder that is restricted by National Treasury

• A bidder that sub-contracts 100% scope of work

The deadline for submission is at 10:00 am on 21 September 2018.
