The Zanzibar Electricity Corporation is inviting sealed tenders from eligible bidders for the supply of electric conductors for the year 2018/2019.

Tendering will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, No. 1 of 2016, and is open to all bidders.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information at the office of the Zanzibar Electricity Corporation, Head Office Gulioni, first floor, room No. 25, Email: pmu@zeco.co.tz from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm local time on Monday to Friday except on public holidays.

A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $100.

The payment should be cash or by telegraphic transfer. Payment must be through the Bank -peoples Bank of Zanzibar Ltd, Branch: Forodhani, Zanzibar, swift: PBZATZTZ, A/C 022103000051 for USD and NC 021103000560 for Tanzania Shilling.

Submissions

All tenders in one original plus two copies – properly filled in, and enclosed in a sealed plain envelope clearly marked TENDER NO. SMZ/ F0120/G/2018~2019/04 SUPPLYING OF CONDUCTORS must be physically submitted at Head office Gulioni, first floor, room number 37, at or before 11:00 am on 4 October 2018.

All tenders must be accompanied with a tender security in an acceptable form of Bankers cheque or bank guarantee in the amount of 2% of its total bid price.
